The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) West Bengal Chapter is the West Bengal body of Architects in the country. Having initiated in the later half of 50's, the institute today has
more than 450 members. The Institute has a major role to play in promoting the profession of architecture by organizing and uniting in fellowship the Architects of India to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession both in Practice and in education. Special Issue of JIIA on West Bengal - The Publication Board of IIA has earmarked an upcoming issue for West Bengal. All those interested to send in an article on any topic relevant to projects, architects, architecture of our state could send an article to ethosindia09@gmail.com by 1st of June 2013.
